Thanks, but unfortunately there is not English Language for review even subtitle could you please at least add an English subtitle?

The video is not at all what I expected. It gives a demo how Emby Client/Server works including using Chromecast during actual playback. This after it is all defined already and up and running.

I did expect a dedicated OPPO Emby client with all Emby client functionality on it directly. Straight and simple but I now understand I am mistaken totally.
It seems to be a (very) complicated trick using the Ebby Client on a Smartphone or Smart TV with IP-links to the Oppo doing the actual content playback swapping Video from the chosen Emby Client to the OPPO temporary during playback. It is very similar to using an External Player with KODI but in this case that player is even running on an External Device being the OPPO needing dynamic HDMI port swapping obviously.

I have my doubts if it works for Music Audio (including SACD) too? Using the Emby concept it is above all nice for Photos, Music and Low-Rate Video on Emby Clients for global access (via the Internet) being on the road. For High Definition Movies with Quality sound this will be bandwidth restricted to local access Emby (=inhouse) implementations.

My enthusiasm went down many points and I am very unsure I even want to try this? If you want the indeed very nice Poster Wall of Emby use it on your TV directly then with Music played using ARC and when a Movie of your liking is found fire that one up via SMB directly with the OPPO.

Yes, I'm totally sure that you can "send" ISO/Full UHD folder movies using chromecast/dlna to your oppo...and also, turn on AVR, change hdmi input automatically, auto-wake up oppo, turn off avr when the movie finish and return to main app.

100% sure

You can't never install emby client/kodi to the oppo 203. It's impossible.

I was extremely surprised about Emby for OPPO and I see that it was just an illusion.

I will wait and see how complex the actual installation actually is. I am pretty sure it works for your setup but have my serious doubts how universal this is with random combinations of other home equipment, the TV with Emby Client and the AMP. Lots of potential HDMI-CEC and EDID problems as exactly these 2 standards are very complicated and known for incompatibilities between brands/products.

Yes you're right. The HDMI Handshake it's a problem with some setup but...you have this issue too without emby system.

You don´t have to install it if you don´t want, it´s very simple to retract the work of other people for free. This method it´s a way for no navegate the aesthetic system of the chinoppo, but if you prefer, just do it

congratulations for your work Javier but practically all new devices with HDMI IN could serve every customer if they include Nvidia shieeld or similar Android devices! I think that the people who deal with software in the group should deal with finding a software solution for detecting external optical disk drives via USB. at least for me this is a big minus in all Rong devices. basically i will buy a 9201, keep in mind i will make the first payment soon the way i shared $ 50/300

@Tocinillo any news from Rong about the players, especially for the unite review? we are worried about shipments to take a long time to receive the units, and you know Rong always lying about shipping. also, when should we deiced order wither 9201, 9203, and 9205?
