Una pregunta sobre tu configuración, si no es molestia.

Yo tengo una configuración similar a la tuya, todo basado en UnRAID. Sin embargo no consigo hacer que el M9203 muestre los contenidos en servidor por NFS.

Accediendo por Telnet, veo que están correctamente montados incluso los lista, pero luego no se ven al acceder desde el interfaz de usuario.

He visto que alguna gente ha tenido que configurar algunos parámetros específicos en sus servidores NFS, pero la pregunta es si tu has hecho algo en tu UnRAID o simplemente tu reproductor lo veía.

Lo cierto es que tengo el Xnoppo funcionando por SMB, pero el montaje de las ISOs especialmente es tremendamente lento (un par de minutos). Quería probar a ver si por NFS es más ágil.

Yo utilizo el Xnoppo con NFS sin problemas con un NAS Synology pero supongo que con UnRAID será parecido. Así lo tengo todo configurado:

En el NAS, tienes que conceder permisos NFS a la IP del Oppo:


En el AutoScript del Oppo, tienes que montar la carpeta NFS en cuestion de esta forma (la IP es la del NAS y a continuación la ruta de la carpeta compartida en el NAS):
CLI(CLI_exec /bin/mount -o nolock,proto=udp 192.168.1.11:/volume1/Peliculas /mnt/sda1/Peliculas)

En Xnoppo, configurar la ruta de esta forma:

Perdona, no entro mucho en este foro y no habia visto tu pregunta.

SI, has de cambiar algo.

Ves a Settings-->Global Share Settings y cambia el valor del tunable "Support Hard Links" a N

Con eso deberias de ver las carpetas NFS desde OPPO

Cambiaré lo que dices, pero aún así, mi problema era la longitud de la ruta del fichero.

Con la versión de NFS que soporta el Oppo está restringida a unos 200 y poco caracteres, y si mantienes carpetas y nombres detallados, no es difícil superar esa longitud. Tenedlo en cuenta.

Aún así, una vez solventado, por NFS también es extremadamente lento el montaje... si es que se monta. Tal vez modificando el parámetro que indicas, que efectivamente advierte de posibles problemas con los reproductores de este tipo, mejore.

Bueno, el Oppo (da igual original o clon) no reconoce "Hard Links" en NFS, de hecho no hace falta que tengas ningun hard link, solo que Unraid tenga configurada la opcion de soportalos (que viene activada por defecto)

Mi nombre de fichero mas largo es:

/mnt/user/Media/Movies/Dr. Strangelove or - How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)/Dr. Strangelove or - How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) - UHDBD.iso

No llega a los 200 y pico (188), pero este funciona sin problemas

Que quieres decir con que el montaje es lento? mas lento NFS que SMB o lento en general? si el disco esta "despierto" es casi instantaneo, si el disco esta en hibernacion hay que dejar tiempo para que el disco despierte.. pero que puede tardar, 10 segundos?

Lo que si que puedes hacer es desactivar la opcion de Unraid que hace que los discos se vayan a dormir.. con eso deberia arrancar siempre mas rapido que con un Bluray original.

I would like Xnoppo, to only run when within Emby a movies from this AVCHD subfolder is selected.
For any other sub folders within the Movies library, I would like to play the files natively on the emby client on the LG TV (and not on the chinoppo M9201 )

Is what I want at all possible?

The reason for asking is that for mkv encoded files I prefer to use the emby client for playing the movie as the interface is more convenient especially with regards to time scrolling/control .

As far as I know there is no way that Emby can distinguish that. The only way I think it should work is by setting in Emby a specific library just for the "AVCHD" folder and setting just this route in xnoppo, avoiding the root "Movies" library.

Thank you for your reply. I think you are right in suggesting that creating a new separate "AVCHD Movies" library in Emby , independent of the main "Movie" library, might actually be required in order to limit the Xnoppo to do what I was asking (only trigger Xnoppo playing when one of the movies contained in the AVCHD subfolder is selected)

Maybe that is the way to go since accessing .iso is not supported through the Emby client anyways, so separating those AVCHD iso_files from the rest of the Movie library might be a sensible move.

I need to think it through a bit more to see if there would be any other disavantages.

You are welcome! Anyway, I see more disadvantages by using the Emby client instead of the chinoppo to play any kind of content despite of the format. The video quality that the chinoppo can deliver is far superior to a TV app. On top of that, depending on the audio system you have, the TV won't be able to passthrough some audio formats while the chinoppo will be able by using the "audio only" HDMI connected to a HT system or a soundbar.
